And Sunday night
Cluxton will have Fenton and the boys at that next year
What in the name of God is the point of that.
To be fair to them the bags are on the back of a trailer. Theyâd probably need some system to get them off and organise.
The recording of it though.
It was absolutely unreal to be fair. One of the best sporting days and experiences I can remember. Paris is a big city but the minute you arrived there were green jerseys everywhere - every street, bar, restaurant etc.
Kicked off the day near Montmartre and sat outside a restaurant in a square sipping on a couple of beers and a platter of meat and cheeses. Followed that up with something similar before arriving down to party central beside the Moulin Rouge. Thousands of Irish fans in the streets having the craic. Great atmosphere there for a couple of hours before the horde headed to the trains to get to the Stade. Great buzz outside the stadium and inside it was hard to believe the numbers that had travelled. The sporting tension was a bit diminished by the Irish performance but the crowd stayed at it and the noise at the end was unreal. Back after to the Moulin Rouge area where the crowd were definitely getting looser but the French police were in the spirit of the whole thing and had a light touch to keep it under control.
If I didnât have kids Iâd say Iâd be figuring out how to get back there for this weekend

Kent Ashmore from Marshalstown⌠Iâd say he remembers well the halcyon days of the Byrneâs and Kinsellaâs alrightâŚ
Pals of mine who have gone to games in Paris the past few weeks have said the crowd at them is very different from the usual suspects you get at the Aviva and itâs all the better and a richer experience for it.
In what way?
Lads from Leitrim there.
Iâm short GAA coaches this Saturday as they have all decamped to Paris en masse.
