Rugby World Cup 2023/ Crochet & Knitting chit chat

There will be those who argue he was better coming in later but I’d disagree.
When the ship was rolling early doors he was excellent

Line out didn’t go well at the start but then we would have been nowhere if he hadn’t stepped inside pre Aki’s try.

Shit throws for the lineouts and missed a tackle for the abdolute dogshit try in the second half.

An inch of a ball hop from redemption the poor cunt

I wouldn’t hold him responsible for the lineout.

It was the same Kellerher. It’s the lads lifting that are off

Hansen was very good. Ringrose was very quiet. Lowe kept trying the same move and either slipped or lost momentum every time. Aki put in a great shift. Keenan wasn’t lording ball like in previous games. Sexton was very poor. Gibson Park did fine. Van Der Flier’s form has fallen off a cliff.

Sorry re Mack, not disputing what he put on the line, imo in his position you need that break sprint which obviously was handicapping with bandage this evening .

Players either definitely gone or likely gone/past their best in 2027:

Sexton
Aki
Ringrose
Henshaw
Lowe
Murray
Gibson Park
O’Mahony
Van Der Flier
Henderson
Beirne
Furlong
Church
Earls
Conan
Kilcoyne
Bealham

We won’t be reaching a semi-final in 2027 either.

It’s going to be a tremendous four years following Ireland.

Next World Cup is America too which Is a dream for me.

Ringrose was very good.

It wasn’t the ideal game for JDF.

Next is Australia.

I’m not sure he did.

Either way it just seems odd that your first reaction is to go looking for “excuses” to somehow take joy in them :man_shrugging:

Ireland have rakes of players coming through at underage.

Bar the savage quick pass he was quiet I thought. Didn’t help Johnny kept tossing him slow ball.

Will be a great one to go to.

He carried and hit 10m a pop, it wasn’t clear on camera but I thought he worked very hard

Some really smart play at times.

I’d need to watch through their tries again though and perhaps that would change my mind!

The biggest error was not making it 3 all.

It’s cup rugby mentality.

New Zealand and South Africa are always at it.

How many times have New Zealand gone 13 nil up and lost?

The last time I remember was 07 v France.
