Rugby World Cup 2023/ Crochet & Knitting chit chat

New blood though…

Crowley
Jimmy O’Brien
Prendergast

Gleeson from Munster appears to be a serious prospect.

What else of note is coming.

Barring Sexton, Murray, POM[quote=“carryharry, post:5442, topic:21320, full:true”]
Are lads over-egging who’s going to retire or not be involved at next WC?

Have a go at what kind of team you think will be competitive going forward

POM, Sexton, Aki and Murray gone anyway.

Outside that, most should be squad battlers at eh next competition.

Should have kicked the points and the trys (tries) would have come .

I’d be surprised if beirne and Henderson aren’t still around.

The biggest issue is these players moving on from the provinces.

If Munster hadn’t been flaffing about with Joey carbery for three years then maybe Jack Crowley comes on with twenty minutes to go and Ireland win.

Yeah a couple of those guys will be gone but loads coming through.

Well the logic was excess Leinster talent

Or if the management had decided to actively source a replacement for sexton

Never convicted

Never replaced sexton either

After 2019 carberry looked a busted flush.

Van graan being at Munster so long probably was a huge hinderance.

It was clear as day jack Crowley was the future two years ago.

Maybe if he was backed earlier he could have made a difference tonight.

The IRFU fucked him for the ladies pink euro

I see the Team Manager Mick Kearney is stepping away.

What would his actual role be?

Team decision, nothing to do with provinces

Funnily enough, Joey steered Ireland to a win against an arguably stronger NZ team in 2016

Nuicifora was involved though.

He was on the field for all our wins v New Zealand.

Beirne looks to be past his best or at a peak at best.

Jimmy O’Brien is 26.
