Putin and Hitler are directly comparable. Putin has proven form for genocide over the years. Putin is genociding Ukraine and wants the end of the free west. He is threatening first strike nuclear weapons, the obliteration of Ukraine and the rest of the west. He wants the total erasure of Ukraine as a state, Ukraine as a culture, Ukraine as a people. He will not stop there if let.

There was no genocide by Ukrainians against Russians, it’s a figment of propaganda.
Ukrainian forces certainly fought to maintain control of their own country, as is entirely appropriate when a hostile foreign power, a fascist dictatorship, tries to annex part of it, which happened in 2014.

Is this like the “democratically elected leader of Ukraine was deposed in 2014” ignoring that the same leader had promised to go into a trade agreement with the EU on election but reneged on that due to Russia bribery? I don’t advocate it and never would advocate a nuclear first strike, but the case for a nuclear first strike against Russia now is stronger, much stronger, than the case for one against Japan in 1945.
