People are strange harry. Theyre literally living through monumental events in human history yet they’ve absolutely no interest in taking an objective look, nevermind understanding any of it.
In fifty years time bored school children will easily grasp the nature of the conflict; some uninspiring school teacher will describe the protagonists, motives, factors and outcomes . But no child will be so simple or unimaginative as to hand in an essay claiming that it all just boiled down to a baddie just decided to bully his sweet innocent neighbour before humerica rode to the rescue. Yet that’s what we get here. Its actually unfascinating to watch

Bigly intrigue in kiev. Zelensky tells his general zaluzhny to resign, general refuses. Zelensky offeres general a couple of plum ambassadorial jobs as sweeteners, general refuses again. Zelensky tells him he’ll be sacked. General effectively threatens his president with a military coup.
Zelensky discusses the matter with budanov, the spook chosen to replace zaluzhny. Budanov loses his nerve and sides with zaluzhny.
Meanwhile, genocide Joe has flown in some US general, to see if they can get the proxy war back on course…budanov takes the soup and announces…wait for it…a spring counter-offensive!
