Russia Vs Ukraine (Part 2) - Neocons Strike Back

Russia has added Facebook to its list of terrorist organizations :joy:

Given that Facebook is one of Russia’s favourite mediums for spreading disinformation that’s a de facto admission by Russia that it is a terrorist state.

Yup it is. It’s brought billions out of poverty.

You yourself choose to live in one such country. During your emotional strops over the place you tell us that you will move to another Western country, albeit one with a bit more Sun.

Crazy bastards. Right up there with Ukraine putting a thirteen year old girl on their kill list…for calling for peace!

Neo liberalism the saviour of humanity - putting people before profit always :ok_hand:

It’s a lot less Sun Chocolate Tom needs, not more of it.

He has all the signs of Derangement Syndrome brought about by looking at too much Murdoch press.

The West is certainly best, for now.

I made a simple point that it’s losing its influence in the wider world… The world was west-centric for a long time. That’s why the takeover of Ukraine through capital (and debt) is important.

Influence in what regard?

Chinese culture? Nobody cares
Chinese values? Nobody cares
Russian culture? Nobody care
Russian values? Nobody cares

Fuck all people move to those places unless they are immediately bordering them, because they’re a bit shit. They’d still rather go to the West, for good reason.

You realise the entire multilateralism agenda was designed to bring those countries into the tent? And they have been, to a degree, but neither are capable of truly supplanting the West because their politics won’t allow it.

I do love this idea that many Ukrainians decided to look to the West in an underhand way. All the free countries bordering Russia or in their former “sphere of interest” have no time for Russian BS but self loathing tankies know best.

Im in no way advocating for Russia when highlighting western motives in Ukraine. It’s a separate point, but sadly there’s a few on here that won’t differentiate.

It’s not a separate point. According to your narrative the West pulled them in by promising to steal their resources. :grinning:

Yet Russia with their out and out bribes to keep Ukraine within the Eurasia Putin pipe-dream.

Many Ukrainians looked West for the same reason that Estonia, Latvia etc did.

It’s a cause of the conflict yes, but highlighting it isn’t support for Russia… You’ll also recognise the many Ukrainians that looked to Russia so?

Of course, as has been said over and over.

What I’m laughing is at your SU based dribble over the World Bank, IMF etc. Apparently they’ve been seduced by a “declining West”.

Again, ask the former Warsaw Pact and Soviet states in the EU were they seduced.

All of this is the typical wank from the likes of Mick Wallace. The West are conniving because of “decline” is propaganda from the days of the Soviet Union ffs and yet here you are with it decades again.

Bizarro

Musk is an awful fucking dose

Dribble because you want to dismiss it.

The imf and world bank have insisted agri land be opened to foreign investors. This is a fact. More large chunks of it to be sold off in 2024 again. Something Zelensky himself was opposed to but the imf/ world bank were insistent. What happens all the medium and small sized holders and a whole way of life? Give em grants i suppose.

After their initial drawdown in 2014 energy prices across the board were put up 50%. This was insisted upon by the IMF… of course energy companies to be privatised too. This is fact.

Social security spending was slashed with more obligations to slash further. This is fact.

Workers rights slashed to reflect corporate needs…

It’s all there and you can laugh all you want.

Everything from nuclear/ energy/ agri/ natural resources and all SOEs are to be capitalized/ sold off to foreign investment. Multinationals can come in, buy cheaply, up prices, take profits, and keep wages down… But where’s the social investment? Where’s the policies to invest in culture and community and people? Every single policy being implemented is to make it easier for big business to come in and strip the country of its assets for big profit. And crippling the country with debt to do so.

This is exactly what’s happening in Ukraine. It’s one cause of the war. To highlight it isn’t supporting Putin.

Im not against capitalism or profit making, but unregulated corporatism is a monster. It has eaten into politics so much so that we think the market should dictate everything, including our parliaments. There’s nothing wrong with questioning and highlighting this ideology. We know youre a supporter of big business over the average person, you’ve never hidden that fact.

Musk is a weirdo. Another nerd who should never have been let out of his basement.

You forgot to add 'it has been claimed ’ at the end of your post.

Musk supports Ukraine. Musk talks to putin. Musk proposes a peace agreement.
Musk is weird. Bombing the fuck out of one another is the only civilised approach.
