Yes that would be my understanding too.
While Ryanair is a tough environment to work in, and a lot leave because of burnout - this rant seems to be a bit unnecessary.

I find it difficult to believe that a company that prides itself on it’s cuntishness, are actually a bunch of cunts to work for. Who would have guessed
Shannon is perfectly nice everywhere. Joburg is the nicest airport I’ve been through in recent times though. Helps that the rand is so weak.
Ryanair the cunts done me again today. Two hour delay. They are gone to fuck altogether. I’d say that’s 5 flights in a row I’ve been at least an hour delayed.
Shannon was a dream again. I’d say I was through the whole lot in 5 minutes. @Batigol do the lads in Shannon get paid the same as ye. Because that is some soft number.
I wouldn’t bother normally but because of the delay we got food and it was way nicer than you’d expect airport food to be. Got chicken wings and they were as good as anywhere.
The lounge is nice in there. It’s the only airport in the world I don’t dread.
As an aside, I was due to fly home a while back and the flight got cancelled at the gate. My expenses were minimal really, and I flew the next day, but could or should I claim for something?
It’s the DAA and the likes of @Batigol have tried to strangle the life out of Shannon and have it all for themselves in the big smoke
Ya there are some websites that will do it for you in 2 mins for small fee
What sort of money would you be looking at. It cost me a day at home, but the car hire company held the car, and I took the motorbike to the airport so it didn’t cost me much money. Apparently the problem was the runway at Shannon rather than Ryanair
Could be 600 quid…it’s some EU reg so it’s a handy process
Don’t do that - just go to the airlines website and type in compensation. They will have a claims form which takes a couple of minutes to complete
A proper king of the people.
It must sicken Charles when his £50 flight to Faro ends up costing £110
Charles just gets it
Ryanair have changed the rules on some flights in the last few days.
If you don’t pay for a seat you’ll have to queue for a boarding pass at the desk. Could take a half hour or more.
Take care out there…
This seems to be a fairly murky business. Ryanair denied it. I dunno.
I’m flying tomorrow and didn’t pay for a seat and I have my boarding pass
I read someone complaining about it last week I think. Ryanair may have perhaps trialled it on a few flights to see what operational impacts it has on their side before they roll it out further/fully?
I think it is if you book through a third party.
Make sure you bring cash for the cans in the toll gate
