Dubs are like uber townies though. And not just because they always get taxis everywhere. The same culture of bursting your bollox for a cause and loyalty to a team simply doesn’t exist in Dublin soccer. There is no such a thing as a Dublin soccer head training like fuck and getting really fit to play leinster senior league or something the way you’d have at intermediate or senior club gaa down the country. Anyone training on their own would be laughed at and seen as a simpleton. That seeps through to everything.
