Levitt in particular is a good signing.

Aribo looks like he’s on his way to Southampton.

What kind of money?

£6m rising to £10m it seems.

Think he’s a decent player.

I know he only cost rangers about 300k but £6 mill is peanuts for him .

Think he’s only got a year left on his contract and doesn’t want to sign a new one. Still not a great return on him at that price.

I’d rather face Morelos than Aribo if the truth be told. Aribo can be a handful particularly off the bench or for the first hour. Morelos will get them goals against the weaker teams but rarely impacts the derby or bigger games, he’s also a model for a red card and an injury. They’ll do well to replace Aribo now with a better equivalent at this stage

Seems a good deal for Southampton tbh. I’d imagine there’s a good chunk of a sell on clause.

You’re being very presumptuous thinking you fit into Ange’s plans

I’d be happy to see Morelos go to be honest … he’s a handful … if they lost aribo and Morelos for a combined 13m/14m I think it’s good business for Celtic

Dunno. Morelos is the kind of lad could drip poison through a squad.

He gets too many goals … he has to go

Before you’re time @thedancingbaby

I was in the Oval Bar, Abbey Street last night. Was talking to a chap from Glasgow. In the space of 5 minutes, he told me he was adopted by Jock Stein, he was Tommy Burn’s brother and that he was the owner of the Brazen Head in Glasgow.
Btw if anyone wants to see Kenny Dalglish, he’s meeting him at 4pm this afternoon in the Oval.

That’s great business for all … rangers get a serious windfall and Bassey goes to a league where he wont run into too many wiley strikers who will figure him out …win win for all

It’s a lot of money for a guy who impressed for about three months. He did have a very good end to the season though, and in Europe too.

My favourite was when he cost them the goal in the final with Frankfurt :pint:

Is it not a bit of a departure from the usual Ajax model of buying players young, developing them and then selling for big money, usually very data driven? Serious money for sure but will it be used to fill key positions or used to shore up the contracts of Morelos and Kent who are no doubt wondering where their moves to the Premiership are? I have to say the constant references to the Tierney money display a real small time attitude/inferiority complex.
