Ah what a venue that was.
Trivia Q: What big money mover did we see in action later that day?

I can’t recall. Please do tell.
Brown must have the greateat haul of medals in Scottish football? 20 at least
Is brown after getting a hair job?
Torres made his debut for Chelsea that day which we watched with the sound down while listening to rebel songs by the Irish Brigade or someone.
It’s just growing.
Ah, I thought you meant we bumped into someone in person.
The wife.
Thought experiment. Put yourself into the mind of a Rangers fan (briefly) and consider which of the following you would chose:
Borrow heavily, spend millions and stop Celtic winning 10 in a row, knowing the club will end up back in Division 10 bankrupt, possibly never to return
Maintain the status quo and lose again.
They’ve £25m for their new kit deal apparently…
They are technically still in Europa League
I’d say bankruptcy again and stopping the 10 as they will still be confident of coming back again. Just need some “fresh investment”. And if they don’t come back they can just say when Celtic overtake them for league titles that it doesn’t count.
Nobody will lend to them
Do that and they inevitably lose their much cherished ‘most successful club in the world’ title to Celtic before they get back in the SPL though. The most likely outcome is they will do both, fail to stop Celtic next season while also going bankrupt.
Any prospect of the 35 year consecutive run of Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers winning it ending any time soon?
Presumably after next season, the cumulative haul of league titles for Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers will stand at 106 and all the rest on 19.
It’s a bit like the Munster Football Championship in that regard.
Cork are definitely Rangers.
The Munster Football Championship has produced a winner outside of the Big 2 more recently than the League of Scotland has outside of its Big Two.
Yes but Kerry have a better record in All Ireland than the Scottish teams in Europe .
