If there is a Yes vote then a lot of stuff can be negotiated afterwards and people would have to be sensible but no point in helping them vote Yes if you want a No vote - if you want independence enough then take the leap of faith

This will be like the move for Home Rule/independence in Ireland. Once this balloon goes up it creates an irresistible momentum. It will take decades but ultimately Scotland will vote for independence. The Yes side will analyse why they lost - financial arguments, work out a better answer and come back in a decade or so and present a better argument.

They will get most of what they want from Dev Max anyway.

Win or lose things will never be the same, even if they lose they will get more money, more autonomy, more handouts more filled potholes than ever before as the English are so desperate not to lose their last friend in the whole world. If I had a vote it would be Yes but if the British Loins were to be renamed the British and Scottish Loins for the 2017 tour to New Zealand this would be a deal breaker for me.
