A good heart these days is hard to find.
Have the pleasure of meeting Luigi Orlandi last week, dead sound he was too. He confirmed that the true test of any chipper is fish and chips, waxed lyrical about how important it is to get the batter right. Was not very complimentary of other chippers in Limerick. Laughed when I asked him about chippers in Ennis and Shannon and made a typically dismissive Italian gesture.
He also hates Chinese restaurants, mainly because their set-up costs are so low.
Luigi is a Juventus fan though he did take great pleasure in Fiorentinaâs defeat of Liverpool a few weeks ago. Heâs a fan of Carlo Ancelotti and has been following Chelseaâs fortunes this season.
He is also totally fed up of young Limerick boys asking him for his autograph as they think he looks like Trapatoni(he doesnât-more like Lippi).
