Where you from so, Askeateon or somewhere?
CM has just stated in the splendid āRavenousā thread that he is currently tucking into a quater pounder with cheese meal from Rioās on Parnell Street.
CM, would you care to offer up a review of this establishement under the following headings?
Food quality
Value for money
Staff appraisal
Efficiency of service
Facilities overview
We can use a scale of 1-5. 1 being atrocious, 2 being crap, 3 being mediocre, 4 being good and 5 being excellent.
Any other members of the Limerick Chippers Social Group please feel free to add your own reviews.
I would like to apply for mempership of this group.
Donkeyās: Best chips, best service by a mile.
Luigiās Parnell Street: Great chips, great curry chips, best battered sausage in Limerick.
Golden Grill: There was a period of two to three years where I would get a large chip from here every Saturday afternoon. Bottom of the bag would be gone before I was finished.
Some new crowd have opend up on Parnall Street I believe, any opinions?

Done and done. :guns:
Thanks Dunph, I wonāt let you down.
Iāve asked for breakfast suggestions for next week on the Ravenous thread, once this is sorted the result is a foregone conclusion. The Dubs can do a good fry but I wouldnāt go near a bag of chips up there.

Good advice joe.
Take this on board the rest of ye fooks for next weekend. I donāt want to see or hear stories any of ye eating from Dublin chippers thereby boosting their coffers and reputation. If youāre hungry, buy a packet of monster munch or bacon fries or something if you must. I urge each member to wait till the trains pull into Colbert station later in the evening and form an orderly queue across the road in Luigiās.
Breach of this may result in expulsion from the group.

My head is hopping off me here but duty callsā¦
Food quality- 4. A noble bag of chips, and a pretty tasty burger but they used easy singles, or its equivalent, for the cheese on the burger. For a 5 it has to be cheedar Iām afraid.
Value for money- 4. 5.80 for said meal (Large chips, 1/4 pounder and can of choice) which is not bad, especially considering the quality.
Staff apprasial- 4. Friendly as fook but foreigners dont understand the concept of salt and vinegar!
Service- 5. Done and dusted in impressive time with smiles all round.
Facilities- 5. Its like any other chipper really but they had an array of newspapers and sport sections laid out for the customers which is a simple but effective idea⦠Keeps one from noticing all the skangers walking up and down parnell st.
Iām off to shite it out nowā¦:guns:
Some of the High Knee takeaways in Dublin would have papers for the customereās perusal but generally speaking the chippers wouldnāt. Then again for our chippers the food does the talking.

Thatās a ringing endorsement of Rioās there from CM. Must get round to an aul review of my own soon. Any requests from members for a particular chipper?
Finances dictate that I canāt be at the Australia game next week but I might still make the Soth Africa game so a review of a chipper in the Thomond Park area would probably still be hepful.
This is a big disappointment Sledge. Myself, Rintintin, Dunph and Puke will have to postpone the welcoming party.
I better take down all that bunting i put up yesterday eveningā¦
The nearest chippers to Thomond Park would be Fredaās, PJās Plaice and Supermacs. Iām sure a review of Fredaās can be arranged⦠Puke check your schedule.
I for one refuse to review PJās Plaice as i value my health too much⦠Runt check your schedule.
The famous Fredaās eh
Add this to your to-do list when you get down Sledgeā¦
Will do. That other thing is on my to-do list as well, I promise Iāll log in tomorrow and decide on that bid.
How are we looking on the chipper reviews front?
To my knowledge CM is the only person to have done one so far - Rioās.
Are any of our members willing to do one tomorrow evening before or after the game? It will provide us with an ideal opportunity to see how one of our chippers does during busy periods, crucial to a successful chipperā¦
