Seems Balotelli was in tears on the bench as a result of racist chanting at him from Napoli supporters.
Disgusting if true*.
*The racist chanting, that is.

Ah fuck him, the big baby.
Balotelli’s attitude makes me sick, always the victim, always trying to deflect the blame. His performance was disgraceful tonight, uninterested and lazy. People keep saying he’s a young lad but that doesn’t wash anymore, a lot of coaches have invested a lot of time, patience and compassion to him and by and large he has failed to return it. We have good young strikers in Italy at the moment, we have good strikers who aren’t that young.
People always criticise Cassano for being immature and difficult but there is no comparison between him and Balotelli. Cassano is just crazy, he’s a good lad but he can’t help himself when he goes off and you genuinely know he is remorseful and apologetic in the aftermath, his passion is his own worst enemy. Balotelli, on the other hand is the opposite, he has no passion, just a self-centred personality.

Italy is a disgraceful broken society. The existence of Mario and di Natale gives it some hope but on the whole it is simply a land bereft of a future.

Fair enough about his attitude but i fail to see how that justifies the racist abuse he received please explain…
He actually didn’t receive racist abuse.
Balotelli has only managed 4 goals from play in 17 Serie A matches this season which is absolutely shocking. He’s averaging a goal from open play every 353 minutes. He looks lazy and uninterested on the pitch, constantly losing the ball when it’s played up to him, offering no target for his teammates, making no runs for them. He’s also managed to get himself suspended for 4 games, putting in a disgraceful performance like that and then go blubbering on the bench to garner sympathy is sickenening. Milan should cut him loose, let him train with the kids until he is professional enough to merit a spot on the side (which may never be).
Zvonomir Boban called him spot on a couple of months ago.
Zvonimir Boban has launched a sensational attack on Milan’s Mario Balotelli. “He doesn’t understand what wearing that shirt means.”
Balotelli remains a controversial figure for club and country and Boban, who spent a decade on the books of the Rossoneri, seems to have had enough of all the hype.
“Let’s stop always talking about this Balotelli,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “In his life all he has done is sit on the bench at other clubs.
“He will always be smaller than Milan and Milan will always be bigger than him.
“In my Milan side he would have carried bags for players such as Marco Van Basten, George Weah and Andriy Shevchenko.”
The striker is struggling for form on the pitch and continues to make headlines off it after turning up late for training on two consecutive days.
“He would have been slapped by people like Paolo Maldini, Marcel Desailly, Sebastiano Rossi, Alessandro Costacurta and Franco Baresi for not arriving on time,” the Croatian added.
“His listless attitude demonstrates that he is unable to comprehend certain things with his brain, he doesn’t understand what wearing that shirt means.
“He should learn from Kaka, a boy who has won the Champions League, a World Cup, a Golden Ball. He’s certainly richer than Balotelli, yet he runs and works like a kid.”
Balotelli has three goals in eight Serie A ties so far this season.
Italy has produced many great champions down through the years. It’s an insult to Italy to laud two mentally weak losers like Balotelli and Di Natale who bring nothing but shame. We will invest our hope in people like Destro and Florenzi - two young lads who both have the heart of a lion.
Torino trail Bologna 2-1 at home at half time. They had taken the lead through Immobile with his 12th Serie A goal of the season but a Cristaldo brace has put Bologna in the lead. Bologna lost Diamanti this week as he completed his move to China.

Cuadrado got a second for Fiorentina with the game finishing 2-0. Big blow for Fiorentina as he also picked up a yellow card that rules him out of the final.
