Serie A 2013/2014

6-3

6 all now whoop whoop whoop cha cha cha peown peown

And another for Milito. I expect Inter to win the league.

Cracking start to the Milan and Napoli match. Milan beginning to find their feet now.

Zapata having a nightmare.

Higuain make it two nil. Looks like it will be two huge wins in a week for Rafa

Penalty for AC

Balotelli misses:eek:

I think this has cause to be one of the most exciting seasons ever in Serie A.

There are 6 genuine title contenders at the moment although I think Milan are in serious bother and if they drop points in their next two games are gone and will struggle to make the CL. I really think Juventus could struggle to make the CL this season, they are really failing to turn dominance into victories. They donā€™t have the cutting edge in the final third and are over reliant on Pirlo for creativity. They havenā€™t added enough alternatives in midfield and attack.

Napoli look good but Iā€™d be a bit hesitant on how well they will handle the demand of CL and Serie A as the season progresses, they are very light in midfield and will struggle if anything happens to Hamsik, Inler or Behrami. Fiorentina will encounter similar problems with European football, I just donā€™t think they have the depth to sustain it in the long run. They have already lost Savic, Gomez and Cuadrado for lenghtly periods and I think they will fall away as the season progresses.

Inter and Roma have a huge advantage in that they donā€™t have European football to contend with. I think both squads look strong and Mazzarri and Garcia have brought a sense of solidity to both sides. Inter in particular are looking fantastic, they are very well organised and look absolutely ruthless - so many goals in this side that they donā€™t need to dominate the play to make it count.

Lazio and Milan look like they could struggle this season - both sides were very unambitious in the transfer market this season. Milan needed a couple of quality midfielders and failed to deliver them and Lazio badly needed a top class striker and didnā€™t get him.

Chievo have taken the lead against a struggling Juventus.

Milan losing 3-1 in Bologna.

Juve have turned it around, 2-1 up against Chievo.

Napoli currently being by Sassuolo at the San Paolo.

Florenzi for Borriello is our final change.

2-0

Gervinho.

Milan have levelled.

For the second successive away game, Milan come from two goals behind to rescue a point in the last 5 minutes.

Fiorentina good value for their 1-0 lead against Inter in the San Siro - playing some lovely football. Mati Fernandez has been great. Rossi was the scorer from the penalty spot.

Icardi on for Fredy Guarin who seems quite irked at the crowd.

Cambiasso equalises. That Neto in goal for Fiorentina is a calamity.

Jonathan makes it 2-1 to Inter. They donā€™t really deserve it but thatā€™s football. The sublime Ricky Alvarez with a beautiful cross and Jonathan dispatches it well. Who would have thought Jonathan and Ricky Alvarez would turn into key performers for Inter?
