Serie A 2013/2014

Cambiasso and Pereira have blown great chances to seal this one.

Inter win 2-1.

Fiorentina will really feel they should have got at least a draw. Iā€™m getting more excited about this season with every passing matchday. The top teams all look so evenly matched and you feel they all believe that they can win the title this year.

Inter are looking solid and ominously for everyone else they look like they have goals from everywhere and even when they are not playing very well they can still grab a goal.

Juve lead the Turin derby 1-0 with little over 10 mins left. They have dominated the game but failed to show it on the scoreline yet again and their goal really should have been chalked off for an offside. They won in midweek as well courtesy of Chievo having a legitimate goal disallowed.

Inter have started off like an express train against Cagliari here.

Mazzarri has mixed it up a fair bit today which is unusual for him. When at Napoli he would generally only give his squad players a run out in the Europa League.

Campagnaro, Jonathan, Taider and Palacio all give a rest today with the likes of Belfodil, Pereira, Rolando and Kovacic.

Agazzi just makes a great save from Belfodil.

Iā€™ve been give a bit of cynic on Nainggolan and how good he really is but Iā€™ve been really impressed with him today.

The right side of the pitch on which Inter are attacking is badly waterlogged. I didnā€™t see it raining since the game started but I find it a bit unusual that only that part of the pitch is waterlogged, I have a feeling this could be quite a cynical ploy from Cagliari given how big a factors the wings are in Inters attacks.

Ibarbo is class.

Gigi Dā€™Agostino - The Riddle playing out over the tannoy at the wonderful Trieste stadium.

Icardi replaces Alvarez at half time.

Icardi opens the scoring.

1-0 Inter.

Cagliari level it up through a deflected Nainggolan strike.

Parma leading Fiorentina 1-0 in Florence, worringly for Fiorentina (and Italy) Giuseppe Rossi had to substituted in the first half - hopefully itā€™s nothing too serious. Iā€™ve been impressed by Rebic who has come on for him.

1-1

Gonzalo with the equaliser, Borja Valero must have one of the best set piece deliveries in the game today.

Rebic has a searing burst of pace.

Vargas who was seemingly frozen out by Montella earlier on this summer has given Fiorentina the lead after some wonderful play by Pizarro.

Parma equalise with the last kick of the game.

Fiorentina play some nice football but they look a bit of a soft touch.

Nice to see Edgar Davids taking time out from his work at Barnet to be the referees mascot tonight.

Napoli very much under the cosh after taking the lead at home to Verona.

Bardi drops a howler.

2-0.
