Yepes has signed a new deal. Penny pinching in evidence again from Milan.
Zdenek Zeman’s Pescara edge closer to promotion as they currently lead Torino 2-0 in the top of the table clash which if things stay as they currently stand will put them 1 point ahead of Torino and 3 ahead of 3rd place Sassuolo and 4 ahead of 4th place Hellas Verona with 3 games left to play.
However it’s not all clearcut as one of those games left to play is at home to Livorno which has to be completed following the death of Morosini. They trail 2-0 with about an hour left to play. Next weekend they have a tricky trip away to Sampdoria who are 6th in the table and in the hunt for a playoff spot. Torino and Sassuolo also play each other in midweek.
Juve lead 2-0 at home to Atalanta - Marrone and Del Piero with the goals.
Milan trail 1-0 at home to Novara.
Inzaghi looks like he’s got the winner on his farewell appearance at the San Siro.
Thats some season from Juve, signed sealed and delivered. Well done Alessandro and Andrea
Del Piero came off and done a complete lap of the pitch, a fitting send off for the legend that he is.
Di Natale
What a finish.
He’s simply fantastic. What a goal.
Congratulations to Zdenek Zeman and Pescara who secured promotion to Serie A this evening, young Roma loanee Gianluca Caprari scoring a double on the way.
Torino secured thier place in Serie A with a win last night.
What a lovely man Francesco is.
“Congratulations Mr. Zeman, to you and the whole team. You are unique and inimitable … You’re just football. And I want to congratulate with Caprari: before he left here I told him that, for its growth, be coached by you at Pescara would be the best. My thoughts are also for Franco Mancini, the goalkeeper that I scored my first goal in the league against. I feel that there, in Heaven, he has put his Pescara back in Serie A.”
Conte’s home accessed by police this morning and Criscito arrested at Italian training.
:o
There have been a fair few reports in recent months suggesting that Siena (under Conte) and Novara agreed to draw a Serie B game near the the end of the 2010/11 season that kept both of their promotion hopes intact. Any specifics of whether it relates to this or something more widespread? Mauri, the Lazio captain, was also arrested this morning.
I hope this will mean Napoli get Juventus’s Champions’ League place for next season.
I read Criscito was not actually arrested, he just had his belongings searched through like Conte. Lazio captain Stefano Mauri has been arrested however, I hope this means Roma will get Lazio’s EL place for next season.
More disgusting shame piled on to Italian football. The Wops are a bunch of crooks.
Post reported.
