Serie A season 2012/2013

Inter have pulled level in Catania after trailing 2-0 at HT. There has been a bust-up between Cassano and Strammaccioni which has resulted in Cassano being dropped and fined. Vincenzo Montella’s Fiorentina continue to stumble as they are drawing with Chievo 1-1 in Florence.

Genoa: Frey; Granqvist, Portanova, Moretti; Cassani, Bovo, Tozser, Vargas,Antonelli; Bertolacci; Borriello

Very strong line-up from Milan, thought they might rest a few with Barca in mind mid-week. Genoa were very impressive, particularly Bertolacci who have been heavily linked with a move to Milan recently, should be a good game - I’m going for a score draw in this game tonight.

Lovely play from the increasingly impressive Bertolacci.

Worryingly for Milan Pazzini took a very heavy challenge a couple of minutes ago and is still hobbling.

Pazzini is after scoring a screamer and he’s barely able to run and just about to be subbed.

Pazzini makes way for Mario, hope Pazzini is fit for Tuesday night, he is in great form at the minute and he ragdolled Puyol in the first leg.

Mario booked one minute after coming on.

Genoa should have had a penalty there.

Mario doubles the lead.

Looked like Cesare Bove asked Kevin Constant “could your nose be any BIGGER?” and this threw Constant into an awful rage, resulting in the African being sent off.

Abbiati is such an underrated custodian.

Looks like Pazzini has suffered a micro fracture which would mean he will miss Tuesday’s game, Mexes is also a doubt after coming off at HT with a muscular injury. These injuries show what a disadvantage teams who don’t administer banned substances to their players are at. Barcelona will probably play on Tuesday with a side free of injuries.

Napoli trail Chievo 2-0 in Verona. Good news for the chasing pack in the race for third. I think Milan will defeinitely get the second CL spot so it’s good news for the chasing pack to see Napoli slide. I don’t think Napoli would be a strong representative for us in the CL next year - Roma, Fiorentina and Lazio are stronger teams and Napoli are in decline, they have really missed Lavezzi this season and I can see both Cavani and Mazzarri off at the end of the season. We really missed a big opportunity last night in Udine.

Juve beat Catania in injury time today with Giaccherini grabbing the winner.

Big blow for Milan as Pazzini has been ruled out of the return leg in Barcelona, Niang will most likely start in attack - big ask for the youngster.

Vucenic has put Juve one up after nice work from Marchisio against Bologna

Serious bit of cut to this.

Marchisio wraps it up

Two for Balotelli today.

Atalanta have equalised in Naples.

Napoli and Fiorentina look to have got a pair of late winners.
