Significant people's (not celebrities) deaths

I saw a documentary on him previously.

His Irish links are far enough out I think - grandparent from Fermanagh if memory serves me correctly.

I remember him well.

Burt Young, Bobby Bacalaā€™s father in The Sopranos.

RIP

Hugh Russell

Joe paid a lovely tribute to him on the pod this week.

Dessie did a piece about him on Sunday Sport last week.

Iā€™d say that was a slobberfest.

They squeezed it in before the Angelus

Everything with Dessie is a squeeze.

Think thatā€™s where I heard it.

Joe Brolly portrayed him as a loveable idiot on his show this week,

Nell, Monty Donā€™s border collie died of cancer last night. Iā€™m very upset about this.

Bobby Charlton

Weā€™ve had fair city actors in the main thread. Fair to say one of the greatest soccer players of all time should be in there too !

Jimmy carters wife. Rosalyn. 96.

God bless her, an early champion of improved mental health services in the US. A real contrast from ā€˜Be Bestā€™ Knauss. I spent 3 months in Washington D.C. on a J1 in the 9/11 aftermath working for Habitat For Humanity, which her husband did a lot of good work for and had a long history with.

Jimmy will follow her soon Iā€™d say, as often is the way. A fine couple.

Jimmy turned 99 last month. Donā€™t think heā€™ll see the 100. It was reported a few months ago that he has gone into a hospice care.

Holding on for her.
