I’d say there’s a lad in LA thinking, shit Seth and Micheal both gone, these things happen in threes dont they?

Is that Dick behind Kammy?

Attended this as we were in the minor that day. Our best ever minor team imo. For the senior game I stuck the earphones on and listened to Radio wan. With no skin in the game and MichƔel describing what was unfolding in front of me, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences that I had at any event. It was magic.

Micky Wadding refereeing. I’d forgotten that. Kilkenny didn’t stand a chance in fairness.

Was it not Clare and Kilkenny in the 2010 minor final?

Yes he’s mixed up with 09.

Kinnerks only loss in an intercounty final

Breaking News: Tommy Gorman, Rest in Peace.

Was the 2010 minor final not between that great Clare team and Kilkenny?

Ah no…:disappointed_relieved:

Only 68. So he was a mere 46 doing the Saipan interview with Roy Keane when he seemed ancient to me at the time. Yet I’m nearly that age now & the intervening 22 years have flown by. My goodness, life is long but life is short & I’m not right since the time capsule notification for my young lad’s class (cc Daddy thread).

And what about the people, the people of Ireland, Roy, who LOVE you?

Up there with ā€œliving a way beyond our meansā€ and ā€œOk, Taoiseachā€ in terms of cultural significance.

RIP. 68 really is no age.
