A titan who was ok with a bit of paedophilia.
What a piece of shit.
Was fond of Ian Paisley quotes back in the day as well.
I’d agree with Lord Tebbit that in everybody’s life you have to look at both sides of the ledger.
I’d take the Brighton bombers as an example. On the one hand they killed innocent people and left Norman Tebbit’s wife paralysed and in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. That wasn’t good at all. That’s the the debit side of the ledger, the bad side.
On the credit side of the ledger, they tried to kill Norman Tebbit and very nearly did it.
But we must return to the debit side - ultimately the Brighton bombers failed to kill Norman Tebbit, and because of that, you’d have to say they’re a shower of cunts.
Jesus what would of happened Anglo Irish relations if they had actually killed Thatcher.
Not if you’re talking about assets mate.
I saw an interview with Tebbit recently.
He was asked what was going through his head after the bomb had hit as he lay there injured and his wife in agony.
‘Ian Paisley’s words - no surrender to the IRA’ was his response.
His wife was then interviewed. She recalled how Norman was ‘weeping and wailing ferociously’ after the bomb hit and this can be seen in the clips from the time as he was rescued from the rubble.
Arsehole.
Patrick Magee would have been made a freeman of several North of England cities.
And a decade or so later, IRA/Sinn Fein surrendered to the British government.
Perhaps but we are talking about the ‘titan’ Norman Tebbit here.
Is ‘Who’s that lying on the seaside’ still a terrace standard?
It was initially thought at time that the miners were somehow responsible for the attack afair
Sean Doherty the Dublin captain in 1974 has passed away.
I’d go so far as to say it was most likely him who finally stopped Mickey Ned in 1975.
Mickey Ned is pictured here beside him in a more cordial setting.

Since when did Hanahoe become a member of the scarf wearing community?
David Hickey looked very shook on the GAA documentary recently.
Mouth cancer apparently. It sounds awful.
A gentleman. Offered himself voluntarily to educate and prepare a transplant team to replace him when he retired. He looks ghastly God help him. The only man to score from play off Paidi O’Sé in All-Ireland finals so the legend goes. That great Dublin team are beginning to thin out somewhat faster than their Yerra counterparts.

They were considerably older than their Kerry counterparts in fairness.

The younger Kerrymen took an unexpected 3-0 lead and held it for several years but Dublin have now overhauled them fairly quickly and you’d expect that lead to increase. Ultimately however you feel it’s a match that will end level.
