Sinn Fein - Populism and Partionism

Duckser Lynch being a very naughty boy

TFK is out of the loop.

There’s a nightmarish conflict here between the (outside) chance of justice for families like the Teggarts and the other Ballymuphy families, and the chance of truth on a wider scale as regards Troubles victims.

A truth commission can only work with immunity.

A truth commision rules out the chance of justice for families in a situation like the Teggarts. The Teggarts want justice, and who can blame them.

But the caseload of historical enquiries is so large, and the amount of human effort and toil needed in what is now a rapidly diminishing time window is so much, that it works against the chance of truth on a wider scale emerging – so a larger amount of families don’t receive truth, never mind justice.

Those who want justice, like the Teggarts, are not in opposition to those who crave even truth, how could they be.

Those who crave even truth are not in opposition to those who want justice, how could they be.

And yet the Kafkaesque nature of the situation means they sort of are in opposition, though they don’t want to be. They’re all just desperate to get whatever they can get.

Oh dear. This is embarrassing.

For Philip Ryan?

Certainly. He’s been running with a non story vociferously for about two months now.

Funny that because it’s you who comes across as embarrassed here when you can’t defend Sinn Fein. Your far right tendencies are showing yet again.

Gerry Adams was never in the IMRA!

To be fair if any party has the expertise to cover out undercover research it’s Sinn Fein given that most of them worked as informers for the Brits for years.

The pollsters were able to identify potential SF voters when they refused to answer any questions

I thought they could identify them when they asked a simple question and instead of an answer got a tirade of angry questions in reply preceded by a “whatabout”

At the same time you’d wonder about the quality of information Sinn Fein get from their research given their supporters always demand to be let go without finishing a sentence.

I owe Philip Ryan a heartfelt apology here. This initial story (political party collecting polling data, stored on servers OUTSIDE Ireland, GDPR blah blah) was complete shite but using a bogus organisation to dupe people into revealing information is downright wrong. The fact it spells I’M RA or IMRA is the Irish Mountain Running Association is even more disappointing, given the lockdown running vertically challenge on TFK.

Token rattled blueshirt response.

The “Whataboutery” line is the get out clause for blueshirt hypocrites who are have nowhere to turn when their double standards are laid bare.

When you eulogise Richard Mulcahy and then decry violent ends to political means then your credibility is wiped off the table.

Time for that fat whale Mary Lou to fuck off.

We need a more militant leader back in control.

Matt Carthy should be the next SF leader down south.

We?
