Good to see Enniscorthy represented on the bench. Hopefully Lett will get a run out. He seems to get his regular game for UCD but don’t know if he’s good enough to cut it at a higher level. I wonder will attendance for this game suffer because of the Wales France match.

What do the *'s mean dan?

I would say the star means that they have been capped in a club international before

More than one of those club players play GAA to a high enough level, and are dam good at it too. Cronan Healy had Cork Senior trials over the winter and Sam Cronin played Senior for Mallow. I think Cronin had to pack it in as he’s now contracted, but Healy still lines out for Ballinora in Premier Intermediate.

Never knew that about Healy, he is fair lightening fast. Wouldnt like to be the corner back stuck on him. Would have felt over the years he merited a better shot with Munster.

Cronin is quality but wont make it either.

Ya have seen him a few times, have a good mate who plays with him. He has an unbelieveable side step. If he could score he’d be a GAA star. Don’t think he’s hugely into the GAA though and rugby is definitely his first game. He gets alot of abuse from opposition crowd at games, typical ignorant comments, although i have burst out laughing more than once. I presume you heard about his Munster experience Dan, he’s a ballsy fucker in fairness to him.

I have often heard those comments myself Caoimhin, when we were younger a load of lads played rugby as well and we would have been physical lets say for minor football, every crowd youd meet would be on your house, stick to the fuckin rugby you animals etc! Fun and Games.

Not sure what your talking about re his Munster experience really? PM if necessary, Bandage wont read that one he doesnt like rugby!

He was a bit small alright but fuck it with that pace, he is a try scoring machine, mates used to play with him up the Well and even though they were shite he always used to grab a few tries.

Pleased with the team Kidney has picked. Think Flannery deserved to retain his place and would have been harsh to drop O’Leary. Disappointing Caldwell couldn’t make the bench. Second best lock in the country for me this year.

Think he’s injured Larry.

Yeah I know. Just disappointing is all. Reckon Kidney would have picked him had he been fit.

Some climbdown from Stephen Jones, fuck me he has been abusing ROG for years, it must have caused him grevious pain to write the article! He makes up for it with a ridiculous comment about Stringer though

Consider also that he won most of those caps playing outside the drastically limited Peter Stringer, who would struggle to win a contract in the Guinness Premiership as a third-string back-up wouldnt

FFS, Id say he would, even at this stage in his career, start for most sides in the premiership, and I am no Stringer fan.

Jones is such a twat. He’s like one of those boring pub bores.
He typically takes the contrary view just to be different- he’d probably fit right in round here

The comment re Strings isn’t worth replying to
What is it 80 odd caps and 2 Heineken cups? Nuff said

He knows his onions this Jones chap. Hope it goes well for him on Friday night.

at least you can laugh at yourself

Has O’Gara’s game changed much over the years? I’d say no.
He has always been an excellent tactical kicker who is capable of throwing a killer pass but has always had questions about his defense.
Has there been any kind of obvious genesis of his game?

Jones is not just a knob, he is the full cock and balls. In 2005 when the Lions were touring NZ I was living in Wellington and Jones was writing for the NZ herald as “The guy with the Northern Hemisphere perspective”. Reading them sometimes you’d wonder if he was watching the games at all.

He disappeared up Woodwards arse for the entirety of that tour.

Shocking bullshit in that article from Jones, he’s the biggest spoofer I’ve ever come across when it comes to rugby analysis. I’d give more credence if Paul Ross started speaking on the game.

Club Intl tonight, weekend starts here. Cant fucking wait for it.

The english are coming…
