Danny is still tackling Kelly, and he’d be dead right to fuck off to Oz for abit. Saying that, he strikes me as a mammys boy and I doubt he would leave London let alone this hemisphere.
In fairness to Danny “i slept with a man” Cipriani, he isn’t one of your stereotypical public schoolboys, raised in a one parent family, his mother worked two and at times three jobs to pay for him to go to a decent school…in saying that he is a bit of a twat
They certainly have the players, its just Johnson doesn’t know what to do with them or who to play. Monye, Armitage, Hodgson, Tait, Strettle, Cueto, Flutey - all very good quality players imo, and the making of a decent attack.
is there a predictions league for this thing?
Wolfhounds match is on interactive service through BBC Ireland. Match also on RTE and BBC websites. Under twenty match is on RTE2. Handicap of eight and seventeen in respective matches and I reckon there is a bit of value in both.
cheers MBB
They don’t have the players, you can’t blame Johnson for everything. The English players have terrible on field decision making, this is bourn out in the HEC every group game this year i’ve seen. There is fuck all Martin J can do about that in fairness.
They are not top class rugby players, simple as that.
Brian Smith is the backs coach and pretty much carte blanche over them, it is as much his fault if not more so than Johnson…The likes of Monye, Care, Tait and Hodgeson et al either don’t have the bottle or the game intelligence for this level…England badly need a leader in their backline ala Greenwood back in the earlier part of the decade
Exactly.
The 20’s look decent again this year. I played football against that Zebo lad, some man to kick a 45, in fact he’d kick a 65.
The Macken lad looks impressive as well, a beast for 19.
This Irish U20 side is very decent. Ruddock leads a quality back row, that Shannon fella Butler will be pleasing a lot of Munster fans wondering where their next no 8 is coming from too. Not sure about the scrum half though, seems to have a v dodgy pass off his left. Irish front row getting great enjoyment here too. Another try now, 13-0
Who did he used to play for?

I knew there was a reason I stayed the fuck out of this thread.
Spence and Macken have good centre partnership. Butler certainly is impressing greatly.

Scrum half has a horrendous pass for a lad playing international, I had a better pass as a 14 year old. He’s fairly slow at clearing the ball from the ruck as well, A few dodgy box kicks too.
Hope its his nerves and he settles down a bit in the second half
Ah that was a fantastic try, outstanding play, jaysus this is very heartening to watch.
Questionable of RTE to be pushing Frankie Sheehan as an analyst.
HUH!!! Would have thought it was a pre requisite now. Not that many trucks playing 12 anymore. I think its fairly obvious that Wallace might be more skilful than Darcy having been a 10/12 all his career. Darcy is a converted FB or wing a position where the skill set wouldnt have been developed quite as much. Wallace can kick and pass far better than Darcy. Saying all that Darcy is a far superior player, much better feet, stronger, quicker and a better defender. But certainly not as skilful.
