There’s a lot of guys on that Welsh team who (despite winning a Grand Slam a few years ago) don’t have a winning mentality or culture. You look at the Ospreys and Cardiff squads in particular and then think about the games they’ve lost that they should have won. Stephen Jones has been partt of plenty of sueperior teams that haven’t delivered in big games. They just seem to lack game management skills a bit.

At 24-24 when Clancy called ‘last play’ to Parks as he was about to restart, could he just have blemmed it into the stand to end the game? Or would the game have continued with a Welsh scrum on half way?
Nope it would have been game over. Similar to Billy Byrne not hitting the ball out of play in '93
