Six Nations Rugby 2016

The public like to watch it all the same.

it was described as a great test match, courage and bravery to the fore

2 teams running into each other for 80 mins. A poor manā€™s NFL

Itā€™s rugby country sure, the public canā€™t be seen not to have watched ā€˜the matchā€™ I woke up and threw on the last few minutes. I didnā€™t put on a leprauchaun hat and pay 20 to go into a pub and shout for the guys. I should have said northern hemisphere rugby, the super rugby and rugby championship are grand to watch.

It was the NFL, 100 years ago before the forward pass. The ball just slowly moved between each 22 today. Players tackled players who were happy to be tackled and more concerned with turning properly in the tackle, not held up in this ā€˜choke tackleā€™ which has killed all momentum. As the public swallows it up there will be no appetite to innovate and make it more appealing.

Presume Ireland were ā€œbrave and heroicā€ today.

Joe Smith said on the Six One news there that the most pleasing thing for him was the way they came backā€¦eh ye were 13-0 up you gimp

Considering they were missing 7 first team starters through injury and Paul Oā€™Connell retired it was a brace and heroic performance today against a strong Welsh side.

Ireland trailed 16-13 late in the game but showed tremendous resolve to level things up.

Just to confirm, I didnā€™t see a second of this shit all weekend.

How was the wedding, bud?

I saw 10 odd mins of Italy France game yesterday and about 10 mins of Ireland Wales game today. Is the entire Northern Hemisphere game just a case of who can bash through the opposition better than the other now? I know this was mentioned during the world cup on here but I assumed it was exaggerated. I know it gets a fair bit of abuse on here but joking aside the game has become even more turgid than it was ever described on here.

Great, palā€¦the two hours in IKEA the following day was unreal, followed by another 2 in B&Q today.

@Chucks_Nwoko - binding is the technique by which a prop forward locks down in the scrum against his opposing prop forward. Fingered in rugby referring parlance means to be penalised. Nathan White was essentially penalised twice for illegal scrummaging.

France had a chap playing on Saturday who hadnā€™t played a 15 a side rugby game in two years.
