I donāt watch much of it but Wales didnāt last weekend anyway
Wales are probably the worst side of the top 8 over the last 5 years. The closest to rugby league side in rugby union.
Thats just not the case. They played fuck all rugby soaked up a shit load of pressure got two scores against the run of play and cut loose when Scotland were chasing the game. The welsh rugby public have been complaining about their style of play for years.
It makes me laugh fellas āwho dont watch much of itā and dislike the game intensely (not you specifically) have such deep tactical insight into it and very very very strong opinions on what approach Joe Schmidt should be taking.
Wales were the best Northern Hemisphere team in the last world cup
Japan played the most attractive rugby of any NH side at the last world cup
Might be a bit of a blessing in disguise for Wales to have had so many of their British Lions injured, which resulted in the Llanelli team getting picked en masse. Wales struggled badly in 2006, 10 & 14 after the last three Lions tours.
Worst side to watch that should read. Where do you think warren ball came from.
Scotland donāt play conservatively. They love to throw the ball around.
All wales beat England?
This is something I point out all the time.
The All Blackās are the most practical team in sport. Ya they have skills but they only reach for the extreme skills bourne out of extreme situations
They play to win. This is what Joe does.
Is it enough to win a World Cup? Thatās largely based on if the players are good enough. The next WC may be slightly too early. But ireland will win one because they have built a system using the tools available to develop all rounded players like the ABās. The schools in Leinster are central to this.
Good insight.
I see Jack Conan makes his Six Nations debut tomorrow. Some of us on this forum were eulogising about him nearly a decade ago.
may be covered elsewhere but the state and carry on of donncha o Callaghan on the clubhouse show lark
Rugby talk.
Control the controllables.
The Leinster conveyor belt of talent is incredible
What are you insinuating here
Nowt . Just marveling at it.
Hmmmm
Very interested to hear @Fagan_ODowd take on the decision of France to recall 32 year old journeyman out half Lionel Beauxis for his first cap in 6 years . He was extolling the virtues of their adventurous selection last week picking a kid and how Ireland would never do such a thing.
I can confirm also that Ireland wouldnt pick Beauxis.
