Sky Bet Championship 2013/14

2-0. Eunan O’Kane has been immense for the cherries. Should get a call up soon. Controls the play, everything goes through him. Funny game. Bournemouth have had all the game without doing much. Only had 4 clear cut chances. Highlight so far has been simon cox hit the bar at halftime from the halfway line.

2-1 Halford with a good header from a free kick.

Game on

3-1 penalty. Game over. O’Kane has been class all day.

That’s red rover for the season then. After the hard lessons learned this season I predict automatic promotion will be a formality next year under Stuart Pearce

Reading have turned it around at Donny and the playoffs are in their own hands as things stand with one to play. Wigan losing today has dragged them back into the mix along with Brighton but they do have a game in hand.Another goal in the Forest game I believe

4-1. O’Kane broke and fed it to Fraser who squared it to kermorgant.

A bad day at the seaside for us. Can’t say I’m surprised. Bournemouth have been shit hot at Goldsands since turn of the year. Only Leicester have gone there and won in that time.

I’m confident that when we get our first choice back four properly fit, allied to the return of Reid & a fully fit Lansbury, and with investment in the summer (two strikers, another DM, a winger & right FB) we can and will achieve automatic promotion next season. Fawaz needs to spend minimum 10 million in order for this to happen. And before he does that, he needs to put a top CEO in place.

Another great day of drama is the best league in English football. Birmingham with a stoppage time goal to draw away to Bolton has saved them and relegated Doncaster while Brighton scored a late winner to beat Forest and get the final play off spot

Tonight I dined with Mr Andrew Reid. That is all.

I’d say that was a long night.

I see former Celt Paul Caddis scored the crucial late goal for Birmingham yesterday. He played against Barca in the home leg of a Champions League tie in 2009 during an injury crisis. I forgot he existed.

This is us presenting the Irish Messi with the NFSC Munster Branch Player of The Year award after yesterday’s game with Brighton.

He’s a great lad, really down to earth. Had a lock in at Dowlings Irish bar last night and Andy was belting out the tunes on the guitar until the sun came up. What a fucking legend of a man. Trap would have loved it

Can someone add Andy to the official Friend of the Forum list, please?

Did you tell him you worked in an off licence?

Can you ask him does he feel he pissed away his talent through sheer lack of application? Or was it always just about the cash for him?

I’m not going to dignify this question with a proper response, due to the stupidity of it’s content.

Keep em comin though MBB…they’re entertaining if nothing else.

The Forest chaps oblivious to the fact that Reid’s poor professionalism and conditioning meant, as usual, he missed the crucial season finale because his body can’t cope with the rigours of a 46-game season. Then they presented him with an award and compounded matters by going on an all night session with the fat piece of shit. You couldn’t make it up.
