Hopefully Norwich and Ipswich meet in the play-offs. If they could jumble the placings up a little more with the last match they might just avoid each other in the semi-finals and set up that mouth-watering prospect of a final meeting between the bitter rivals.
Millwall relegated, I blame it all on that west country bumpkin Holloway
Wigan down as well. Im sure a man as humble as Dave Whelan is taking this hard.
It’s staggering that two recent FA Cup winners could suffer the ignominy in recent years of tumbling to the third tier of English soccer, especially considering to win the competition you are contending with mega bucks powers like the Manchester’s, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal. Portsmouth tumbled all the way to the fourth tier of English soccer within a few years of winning the competition as a top flight team, but granted this was mostly down to their massive financial woes due to overspending in the first place. Wigan don’t appear on the surface as a team who have overspent? A problem for them though is there is no interest in soccer in that part of the world and even when in the EPL attendances were poor.
Pompey will be on the way back, they are out of debt. A tremendous set of supporters. Fratton is one of the great British football grounds
I’d say Luther Blissett has been on the lash for the last few days after the promotions of Watford and Bournemouth, two clubs he served with such distinction during his great career.
that is correct and also that fool David Forde
Neil Harris will get them out of the hole, a real Millwall man
Quite happy to see Milwall and Wigan take the drop. The Championship will have a little less xenophobia about it next season.
No Leeds millwall to look forward to this year. I love the London tie, one of the highlights of my year that I always look forward to, great banter, unreal
+1, pal. Of all the Championship and ex-Championship clubs you’ve supported over the years, who would be your favourite three? I recall you mentioning that you had an immense feeling of clarity and joy while driving over the Lancashire Moors en route to Burnley a while back.
sometimes I wish ny beloved Foxes were back in the championship, so much better than the EPL

I love going down to Charlton Aswell Bandage. More than any other London club, Greenwich is a lovely spot for a few pints. Brentford is another good spot for a few pints before the game, there is a pub on each corner of the ground. When I was up north, I used to love Leeds, a really big club. The championship is the very essence of football, football in its purest form
Bradford could be a great club if it was not for the ethnic population

I never would have put you down as a squadie
Great stuff, pal. I was over in London on an official TFK “City Break” last August and visited The Shard before socialising in East London in Millwall territory. There’s been massive regeneration and development in some of these traditionally lesser well off areas that fall into the Millwall and Charlton catchment areas. A great craft beer scene around Greenwich too by all accounts.
I’m a bag of nerves here.
Slab has us one up at Blackburn.
That’s me away to Wexford.
Pray for us, lads. Pray for us.
good old slab
