bit of a difference between 180k and 25k there hbv
I wonder do these people realise what affect this will have on Ireland, selfish fucks.
I love how the Irish Independent spent ten years promoting an everyone for themselves culture and now that some workers are doing it it’s communist treachery.
whats this?
LOL
nice one
Well hbv. You were asking if the other socialists would support the atc. And by that i presumed you meant the civil servants who were on strike in dec.
And before you ask, im sending this while on the bus back from naas circuit court

Before you start swinging the red flag on behalf of the ‘wurkers’ Art, Air Traffic Control should not call lightening strikes.
And you know it. (BTW Art when you get on the bench, you’ll have a driver to taken you hither and thither)
Hey, did ye know I was shortlisted for ATC in Cork Airport back in the day: I failed the medical (eye sight) And I remember being rightly pissed off about it too, its a cracking gig.
no, i dont think that all striking civil servants are socialists art, by socialist i meant simply socialist.

Public servants have today begun a national ‘work to rule’ protest.
basically, instead of waiting 7 or 8 minutes for them to answer your call you will now wait 12 or 13.
if it prolongs, instead of waiting 3 months for your dole to be processed you will now wait 4 to 5 months, and instead of waiting 9 months for your redundancy you will now wait over a year.
anything else?

You seem to have a pretty high view of standards in the Public Services.
I doubt anyone would even notice a work to rule if the Unions didn’t pump it into the news and media outlets.
And I’d love to know how a Statistician earning over 200k a year in the ESRI applies a Work to Rule that would actually mean something.
For those of you who constantly bemoan the ‘media bias’ against the unions and public sector workers, here’s a link to what essentially amounts to a very long propaganda piece for the unions in what remains Ireland’s most influential newspaper. Nothing particularly wrong with this (though it is a little on the fawning side), because I think the opinion pages of the IT are generally fairly balanced. It just bugs me when people tell you that you’re being brainwashed by Tony O’Reilly if you think that the public sector pay cuts weren’t unreasonable.

Apparently Liveline is very good. Talk of hugerstrikes at the passport office!
Heard a clip of it on the news there. Some woman claiming she won’t drink or eat till she gets it.
Funny stuff alright. The fellow responding to her sounded as if he couldn’t give a shit whether she lived or died.
Dirty bitch.
