The 123 was running there earlier and the 41. Pickets at Summerhill bus garage. Traffic beginning to build up now and a lot of bikes on the road.
Problem with this is you end up with a cunt like Branson getting the contract, and upping the fare every couple of months. Any non profitable routes, he’ll then whine, and threaten to pull out, and Hey presto,more subsidy. The taxpayer/traveller gets it in the neck all ends up.

If you looked at it logically you wouldn’t necessarily want the people charged with getting 80 people around a busy city or up and down a motorway at 100 kph in a 20 tonne vehicle to be the lowest paid workers in society.

The head of NBRU was on the radio this morning and he said he knew nothing about the escalation and that it hadn’t be organised or instructed by him.
Is that just bluster that he needs to say in order to cover himself?
Hard to know but a Cork accent doesn’t seem right for s Union boss . It needs a Dublin accent . Also he doesn’t have a beard .
