There’s a software update available that brings about some worthwhile changes, and will make some features more stable (some of the additional modifications that we have here will be part of the core software so will work more reliably and cause fewer issues). Anyway this is likely to happen at the weekend and is likely to involve a small bit of downtime.
We’ll probably also have a few tweaks to the style, and maybe even an alternative style.
Anyway the changes you can look forward to include:

[]Mobile skin will be more stable - it will still be a scaled down version of the regular skin but it will be a slightly more fluid and less jerky version.
[]Some improvements to how PMs work
[]Long quotes will automatically shrink with a scrollbar and various other little tweaks like that.
[]Will have a soccer prediction league up and running for the new season and that will work seamlessly with score updates and fixture updates etc (like the NFL one currently) and will be easy to use.
[]This editor that you type posts into will change. That’s probably the biggest change you’ll notice. Some features of the new editor:

The apps will also get upgraded soon. Mac[/USER] and [USER=1406]maroonandwhite have had a test of the Android app. It needs some work still but hopefully it will be available in a couple of weeks. Both apps will be fairly serious upgrades on the current ones. (Warning: everyone might not like them but for complicated reasons we’re sort of obliged to change).

I do promise to make any alterations as required if it’s not popular with the masses. But those of you on your old skins that you don’t want to leave - well you’re just going to have to move on.

What’s the story with the app? Is it dead?
Which one? Is it not working for you? It seems to be still working for most people. I can’t properly support it for complicated reasons. But it should still be working. If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
About to go live with this change. Any criticisms you may have should be personal, aggressive and non-constructive as far as possible. It’s the only way I’ll stop tweaking.
But if you do have changes to suggest, feel free to do so. I’m happy to tweak colours to make them more or less garish as required. And all sorts of other things can be changed too obviously if I feel like acting on your pathetic suggestions.
All the old style options are gone. You are left with 2 styles, named after TFK’s most popular member: Fooley and Fat Fooley. They won’t look too dissimilar if you were on Kev until now. Fooley and Fat Fooley are essentially the same style, just Fat Fooley is full screen width and Fooley is a standard fixed width.
I’m not great with colours so let me know if the chosen scheme doesn’t quite work.
Oh and the kicker in the logo is a bit blurred. I can’t be arsed going downstairs to get the original file off my laptop so I’ll fix that sometime over the next couple of years.
