“How often do you think about your digital nutrition?
Nefarious algorithms and click bait will often lead you into the rabbit hole of despair, gloominess and cynicism.
Just as we are what we eat. We are what we consume online.
Everything in moderation.
Surround yourself with digital dangers and you risk absorbing that toxicity.
Consume angry, bitter and jealous content and it will affect your mindfulness and attitude.
It will seep into your conscious and affect your mental well-being.
Digital nutrition is just as important as the diet of food that we consume.
Just as we wouldn’t/shouldn’t live off a diet of junk food alone, we must also be aware of our online consumption.
As yummy as salt and vinegar co-op crisps, chocolate and fast food might be, we all know the importance of a balanced diet.
Carrots, Kale, spinach, apples and ginger are important too.
It is the reason so many of my posts are lengthy, rambling observations on hope, happiness, kindness and general, positive affirmation?
I try to leave the digital version of a smile and a hug.
There’s already too many scowls and frowns.
Social media’s digital town square doesn’t all have to be heckling and gallows.
I hope that my contribution here brings some simple escapism and contributes positively to your online experience.
There is plenty of nutritious online content out there.
You just need to find it and use it to dilute the increasingly prolific toxicity.
Think about whether it’s meaningful and most importantly is it mindful.
And thanks to all the amazing audiences who have come out for my show, Wild.
You have all been AMAZING
Love, peace and positivity”
