Sickening. But we looked dreadful tonight to be fair. One or two decent chances all night says it all.
No, but its a fair comparision.
Mentally miles away from each other.
Ireland retreat to fear very easily in soccer. One off performances but lack consistency.
It means alot, and what he did was silly and not needed.
i dont think soccer and rugby are comparable, one is a sport and one is a hobby for posh boys who were no good at soccer or GAA.
It was irrelevant in terms of tonight’s result. Completely irrelevant.
Do you try & make yourself sound more simple on purpose, pal? I can understand overstating intelligence but I can’t fathom why someone would try & make themselves sound dumb on purpose.
Ah can someone put Dunphy out to pasture, hes fucking talking about Charlton now FFS.
Hoolahan should have played because Walters was able to.
You are playing the man and not the ball gere. Absolutely retarded.
JOS should have been aware of the overall picture.
Utterly senseless to defend it.
O Donoghue will get fucking lamped by MON when he asks about Wes again.
Well if thats what you want to believe then there is not much point discussing.
The rugby WC has actually been outstanding and entertaining.
Plus the whole posh boys thing is a bit old and doesn’t hold up anymore.
If we had any bit of quality at all we would have got a result. Poor.
Thats the most depressing thing about tonight.
I’d have been surprised if Holohan had started tonight and yet Dunphy rattles on about it as if it’s a crime against humanity.
I think the vast majority of the board are not giving Poland half enough credit. They are a very able team & IMO a much better side than Ireland. In fairness Ireland getting a playoff spot after the Scotland results is a fucking diamond of a result.
What are the wants & avoidables in the upcoming Playoff Draw?
Yes, Poles are no great shakes (Lewancheatski aside), but we are some bunch of talent-less hoofers, it’s unreal.
Sure he dropped it all.
Whatever about dunphy and he is bound to be right once, he is 100% this time.
This was an oppurtunity to move on mentally as well as anything else and put faith in the lads to play similarly again as the last day. The pressure was actually off a bit.
Its a major fuck up IMO.
In all fairness, that Lewandowski was outstanding there tonight. Gave them an out ball every single time there when they were under pressure and won free after free. Worth his weight in gold in a tight game.
