I attended a stag in Edinburgh 2 weeks ago where the man of the moment insisted on an open bus tour of the city in the afternoon followed by a meal in a tapas bar afterwards. We would all then meet in an assigned pub at 8pm.
I met the spastic at 8 alright, buckled I was. I vaguely remember a few dirty looks when I wobbled in the door.
Edinburgh is a great city to go for a few pints by ones self.
Ask your mate Gman, and then do the opposite of whatever he advises you.

We stayed here for a stag before:
Pub stays open all night and only a 10 minute taxi into town.
There’s a kinda hostel thing out the back you can book out, think it sleeps about 16.
We went deep sea fishing on a boat that literally left from the door of the pub, everyone puked their ring up, then back to the pub for a BBQ and off into Dingle for the night.
I might try and hit Dingle for the bank holiday actually its been way too long.

Ya, you’d probably be as well staying in town, but just keep it as an option if you can’t get anywhere.
The bar staying opem all night is only on the condition you get that publican pissed first. When thats complete the place is yours.
If I could suggest a place for ye to stay Fran it would be this place, Barr na Sraide Its in the town, perfect location to start the stag as its at the top on Main Street (all downhill from there), and its an earlyhouse for the morning after.
I was just going to suggest there. A most noble spot for booze at 10 am.
I preferred it before they did it up, but it’s still a great spot. Surprisingly enough RTT nearly got bate out of the place a couple of years ago for abusing Keiran “Donnelly”, I believe the phrase he used was “a poor mans Brian Begley” :lol:

Went to a trade show there last year and got bored after an hour and it the pubs… a fcuking hell hole of a spot to get a decent pub with a bit of banter and crack.
I’m off to a stag in Newcastle in early June - the same weekend as the Leitrim Roscommon match. Would love if the ash caused me to miss it.
MAD should be able to provide you with a list strip clubs in Birmingham. He’s a fiend for them
