Very busy on the mean streets of the real capital @Thomas_Brady this evening enjoyed a few pre dinner drinks al fresco in Barbarossa that was rudely interrupted by 2 gentleman engaging in an altercation that led to one of them cracking his head off the road after being felled with a proper right hook. Ambulance eventually arrived and he was carted off, the council were also quickly on the scene to wash away the blood. Proceeded to have a lovely meal in Il Padrino on Cook Street back in the hotel now having a few nightcaps before we hit Kinsale tomorrow.
Padrino is a grand spot. Cork city is usually buzzing tbf. Loads of great food options - I’m not gone on any of their pubs tho.
None of the hundreds floats your boat?
Not really…
OK…
Lovely day in Kinsale went for a long walk this morning and had a lovely swim on Kinsale Beach huge crowds around and plenty partaking of the food trucks @backinatracksuit near the bridge heading over to the beach. Did the boat tour of the harbour in the afternoon and currently in Kitty O Sheas watching the match.
By God, you’re having the life.
By God, I never heard of Kinsale beach.
Superb fish and chips out of the van at the bridge
It’s over past the bridge behind the Dock bar

Signing in
Got a fine roast there today
Did you find the place in ballyvourney
Had a lovely chowder in The Quays Bar in Bantry there today, washed down with 2 pints of Murphys.
Got a tasty seafood platter in Helen’s Bar in Killmackillogue, Co Kerry yesterday. A hidden gem about as far south in Kerry as you can go. The pint of Guinness was only €3.90. . Plus, they didn’t charge me for a bowl of soup for the child.
No sign of Ian Bailey around Glengarriff the past 2 days
I drove past but was tight on time so unfortunately had to give it a miss.
Weather hasn’t been kind I’d imagine
Today was a washout alright but thank god the pool in the hotel in Bantry was open to the public for the first day today.
Hello Leo.
