Staycation - Limerick's hard on for anything Kerry

Loads, I’m gutted we can’t go back this year.

Dingle is rocking and rolling tonight

2 euro for a 500ml bottle of water in dingle.

You can only admire them

Are the Fungi boats still running ?

I think so yea. I think it’s just rebranded to boat tours.

As I says, the “Wild Atlantic Way” was always there…

“Sea Safari” they don’t miss a fucking trick

I really liked Mayo last year. I’m going to go back again this summer at some stage, when the Paddy gouging has subsided

The Dingle half marathon not going ahead in September. I think we’ll head down anyway and climb a mountain. Any advice welcome - is Mount Brandon the one to do.

Yes

I hiked/ran/crawled it as part of the Dingle Adventure Race one year

Mount Brandon is spectacular.

Have a game of pitch and putt too.

It would be great if any evidence of gouging could be posted here as we go!
I hear that new joint down in Doolin is charging €15 for fish and chips?

Had a queue out the gate when I passed last weekend.

You’d want your head examined to go anywhere other than Kerry on your holidays.

how tough is it? is there a path all the way?

A fit man like you would be up there in an hour and a half on a fine, dry day.

Mount Brandon is a spectacular hike, one of the best in the country. Start on the Cloghane side and up via the paternoster lakes. The last section from the last lake up to the ridge is strenuous but short enough.

Its top of my list the next time I am over

Yeah the run in the race goes up from Cloghane and then you came down another side onto the road and ran 11km into Dingle :grimacing:
