One Swallow doesn’t make a summer… In the same way one album doesn’t make you a great band… The test of time does and oasis continue to stand up to that test. The roses are remembered by one generation and generally thats it.

I said The roses would only be remembered by peoples (not all ) of a certain generation… Oasis were our voice but continue to transcend all generations due to the sheer quality of their music… You bean pole!

Im a huge Oasis fan but they havent done anything as good as the Roses debut.

Oh and CM, “collection” means what it means in any other context. Singles, albums, demos, live gigs, downloads, books, bootlegs, posters you name it. Don’t tell me one has to be a music snob to understand the meaning of “collection” within the context of a band one likes???
