Napoli have a bigger Uruguayan contingent and he gets to play in a nicer climate and better quality league. Borini’s a fabulous player, farmer. Ye’d do well to get him - I just hope our management team reject the filthy advances of Liverpool. Rodgers seems to be pursuing some very talented players if the likes of Ramirez, Holtby and Borini are genuine targets and I’d be quite excited if I was a Liverpool fan if he succeeds in his endeavours.
I’m hearing the Borini deal is on, any word your end Totti?
Yeah, seems to be legs to it going by Italian media reports and Sabatini’s comments. Will be disappointed to lose him but what was reported today is that Zeman doesn’t see him as irreplaceable and is very keen on Destro as his replacement. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top between Destro and Borini - they’ve had a very similar career path so far and only nine days separates them in age.
Maxi Lopez has joined Sampdoria on a season long loan from Catania.
Splendid stuff Although you may wish to spoiler it.
I believe Kawagas missus is someone of note also?
Pornstar aint she.
Have some of Weidenfellers missus modelling the new Dortmund jersey instead.

Looks like Juve are going to take Manolo Gabbiadini on a co-ownership deal and loan him to Bologna. Strong rumours that PSG are back in for Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.
Was reading about that PSG interest alright. Would be quite the team they’d have if they got those two.
Croatian defender Gordon Schildenfeld has left Eintracht Frankfurt and moved to Dynamo Moscow.
PSG are also supposed to be hot on the tails of Marco Verratti as well.
The Ibrahimovic/Silva deal seems to be on reduced terms to what it was the last time. I could understand them selling Silva as he would bring in the bulk of the money and it’s much easier to replace a defender than a match winner like Zlatan, even if Silva is the best defender in the world. I’d imagine the Milan fans would be in uproar if this happened. Andy Carroll would is one of the names mentioned if Zlatan leaves.
Berlusconi is meant to have confirmed it as well.
Fucking hell. Milan have sold / released an incredible amount of experienced players this summer - Nesta, Inzaghi, van Bommel, Seedorf and Gattuso already. Zlatan and Silva were their best players by far. I’m probably missing a couple of players too.
Destro seems to be the man Milan want to come in and replace Zlatan. Some serious downsizing has gone on alright. Zambrotta is another name that has left and they have had a few of their loanees leave as well - Lopez, Merkel, Aquilani. Could be another couple I’m forgetting as well.
Why is Lopez gone on loan again? Has he no interest in playing for Catania or can they not afford his wages or what? Would they not have been better off selling him?
Super Swiss Ramble article on Milan’s finances and why they’ve had to downsize:

Not really sure Rocko, I don’t rate him very highly in any case. A lot of transfers between Italian clubs have ulterior motives behind them.
@Totti or other followers of Italian football
Why are co ownership deals so prevalent in Italy and what are the perceived advantages of this to both clubs? In addition why are these arrangements not used in England (maybe they are?)?
Is Aquilani coming back to Liverpool? I was disappointed he didn’t get more of a chance first time around, he might fit better into Rogers plans?
