At least Andy Reid was in the EPL last season. Yeates was with Colchester.
I see Niall Quinn saying lately that Andy Reid is going to make a big effort over the summer. Could be interesting.

Sounds like something the local wasted talent alcoholic Junior B player would say come February or March.

Oh fair fucks to Andy Reid. He deserves a good pat on the back for being in the appropriate physical condition to carry out his job. Fat cunt
MANCHESTER CITY have made a formal, €30 million bid for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o and put together a “stratospheric offer” to make him the highest-paid player in English football.
Thats a lot of Money for Eto, is he not nearly out of contract? I thought Barca were saying he was available for 12-15mill
He only has a year left. I saw quotes from Laporta on some website and he was like the cat that got the cream.
money is no object for these boys, they dont give a flying fook about cash it seems.
Kevin Doyle on his way to Wolves according to RTE this morning.
Eamonn Dunphy says its a bargain for Wolves at 6.5m but a bad move for Doyle to be joining Premier League strugglers.
Man City are about to buy Samuel Eto’o - they could do with a Kevin Doyle apparently.
Thought the Eto’o deal was off.
Good to see Doyle back in the EPL. That’s a better Wolves team than the last time they were promoted so I think they’ll have a decent chance of staying up this time.

Whose place will Doyle be taking at Wolves?

Had the chance to go to Villa a couple of years back so its a bit of a step down in that sense.
They seem to play with some decent wingers too - well decent at Championship level anyway so Doyle should be able to nod in a few. Always the danger that Wolves will use him as a battering ram but Ebanks Blake has pace so could be the makings of a decent combination.
Would Glasgow Celtic possibly be interested in Scottish striker Chris Iwelumo who might be deemed surplus to requirements or Andy Keogh?

You expecting Wolves to challenge the big 6 next season?
Since when was there a big 6? I recall a “big” 4, where did this 6 come out of?
The number six comes after the numbers four and five. Not sure of the history behind it though.
There’s Man Yoo, Gooners, Chelski and Pool. After that there’s just a shower of also rans looking for crumbs from the top table.
Bad move for Doyle.
But Wolves have a chance of staying up.
Hull and Stoke will do well not to go down.
Burnley are down already.
big 6? huh?
Ah I know, shur I broke me hole laughing at that one… :guns: :guns:
