That was Keaneās pie in the sky tactical adjustments. He generally had four strikers on for a finish in games. He certainly aint a wide midfielder. Remember the West Ham game last season when I knew Keane was found out as a manager. Andy Reid who had been Sunderlandās sole creative threat was playing left wing and taken off when Keane pushed on Murphy and someone else to go with four up front. Murphy was embarrassing when he came on. Hasnt the quick feet, movement or any attribute to play wide. Nowhere near good enough imo.
Dunphy and Giles know the score on Zlatan
Zlatan is waaaaaaay better than Berbatov. Zlatan is a magnificent footballer.
- Emmanuel Adebayor is said to be close to joining Manchester City for a fee of 22m and on wages of 170k a week.
- Klaas Jan Huntelaar is expected to join Stuttgart for 20m; they have the funds from selling Mario Gomez to FC Bayern.
- Bordeaux are chasing hun defender Madjid Bougherra for 6m.
- Mirko Vucinic has announced that he was no interest whatsoever in joining Spurs. Dane Bowers and Victoria Beckham would probably agreeing that heād be out of his mind to leave Roma.

Bit of credit for True Steppers wouldnāt go astray.
Canāt believe Huntelaar could be on his way to Stuttgart. Very surprised that United wonāt take a punt on him. Even Arsenal with the proceeds from Adebayor. Adebayor aināt worth next nor near that - hope the @rse falls out of City and theyāre left in ruins. Does Hughes have any sort of a plan at all at all?
Stuart Downing to join Aston Villa for 12 millionā¦
Burnley sign Richard Eckersley from Man United, another lad leaving the sinking shipā¦
Hull agree 5 million fee with fulham for Bobby Zamora

7.5 million for Daryl Murphy and Bobby Zamora.
Fucking hell!
Awful signing:eek:
He is out till October, cant beat a man, is predictable as the day is long and didnt score a single league goal for Boro last season etc etc not to mention that Ashley Young is probably best on the left wing where he can cut inside so where does that leave this mong?
Awful, no imagination, no ambition etc etc
7.5 million for Daryl Murphy and Bobby Zamora.
Fucking hell![/QUOTE]
About two league goals for that.
Fulham must be delighted to have got their money back on Zamora. Doyle really should have gone there.
I thought there was a world-wide recession on? Clearly it doesnāt apply to the EPL.
5million for Zamora
12million for Downing
I despair.

it applies to man united, they are potless
Spent 20 Million as it is. At least the club wouldnt throw money at player after player, could never afford to in the first place and then find themseleves in League 1 now.
Peter Crouch being linked with Sunderland

Ridiculous prices for average players. Are Aston Villa not in 80 million or something in debt as well?

Even worse Dunph - itās pounds
EDIT - Glad to see Villa have taken Downing off the market. Had a horrible feeling Liverpool were going to bid for him.
A sure sign that Young is on the way outā¦
Iām not sure, Downing is ahead of Young in the England pecking order and I imagine heās a better player than him. Probably just strengthening the squad and creating more competition. Downingās a very average player from what Iāve seen though and heās massively overpriced at 12m.
Thatās the trouble with imaginationā¦
Your last sentence is correct. Suppose Milner might be moved inside but this is the worst signing at Villa Park since Emile Heskey:mad:
