Summer Transfer Window 2009

Everton?..

Moyes does have previous with bringing in players from lower leagues. He’s full of passion so would fit in well in that sense and they are rumoured to be interested. Dont think he is a top 6 player though.
They couldnt afford his brother never mind him.

His end of season club form was pretty dire apparently but has played well for Ireland. Not sure how far up in the EPL he will be aiming. West Ham, Fulham probably
unlike the EPL clubs Celtic wont build up a large debt- so its not a case of affording him or not as the EPL teams seem to buy players out of debt finance

shit if only I had een that earlier

Mr.Benitez has ruled out a move for Napoli’s young striker Ezequiel Lavezzi… And has told Barca to go shit in their hat in regards to approaching Javier Mascherano.

Lavezzi? He’s class on Pro Evo

No price on McGeady going to Middleboro. They were strongly rumoured to be after him. A replacement for Downing perhaps :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though the 6/4 on him staying at Parkhead is a great price. He seems happy in his comfort zone unfortunately.

Real have reportedly agreed to pay a world record fee to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and have dispatched a doctor to examine the winger’s hernia problem.

Source on this MBB?

Rafa says Masherano is not for sale for 40 or 50 million!

I would take 20 million for him.

One of the rags, perhaps the mail? Picked it up on one of those transfer gossip things.

United accept a bid of 80m for Ronaldo it says.

I remember when I was a lad people used call them Manchester Ushited. Don’t hear that one as much anymore I don’t think.

Dunne rumoured to be in talks with Spurs and Sunderland.

Saddening.

Looks like you were right!

I checked his price to leave United after you posted that and he was just under evens on Betfair. I should have gone with it.

For that kind of money United had to cash in on him. I wonder how much of it will go back to Fergie for players?

IT woulda been nuts to turn down 80mill.

If United had not bought that useless gypo, they would now have an 110m warchest. Imagine the damage they could do wit that?

Instead they have the gypo and 80mill.

that was at christmas when he had a falling out with “him”

I would have bet my left nut that he was going to stay at celtic but I couldn’t find anywhere doing the bet. fuck it

Does anyone actually want McG?

Heard a report from Birmingham today that Owen will sign for Villa as soon as O`Neill returns from his holidays on the 17th or 18th of june.

a shit player joins a shit club- shouldnt really be on this thread -

Run along now little boy ,do you not have some houses to rob or something?

was thinking of robbing your house but the stench of piss is offputting
