That’s still probably the most likely scenario alright.
Also whether it was just the wording chosen or not we don’t know, but Dortmund ruled out him going to Bayern in 2013 which means they could sell him to Munich in January. That’s unlikely though as they’d hardly get much of the rumoured 25m on offer now.

Could also interpret it as Dortmund recognising that he will go to Bayern in 2014 but there will be nothing that they can do then to prevent the move. In the interim they will stick to their guns and refuse to sell.
He had agreed personal terms with Bayern. Everything was all lined up but Dortmund are willing to forego a transfer fee so that he doesn’t join Bayern this summer. That leaves 2 possibilities - he either joins someone else this summer (probably for a lower fee than Bayern offered) or he’ll sit it out and join Bayern next summer. I guess there’s a remote chance he could sign a new deal with Dortmund but that’s borderline implausible.
It’s a reasonable stance for Dortmund to take. They already have the cash from selling Goetze for his maximum fee (his release clause amount). So they have that money and the CL money and they don’t need to improve their finances at the expense of improving Bayern’s squad while simultaneously weakening theirs.
It will be an interesting season for him if he does stay for the final year.
I’d imagine what will happen here is that he will join Bayern before the window shuts for a few million more. At the end of the day Dortmund nearly went belly up a few years ago and shouldn’t be so foolish, however morally applaudable their stance is, to turn down millions of euros.
How has personal terms been agreed if he hasn’t been given permission via acceptance of a transfer fee?!?

I can categorically guarantee you that he won’t join Bayern this summer.
Dortmund have apparently trebled Lewandowski’s wages for the last year of his contract. Not quite sure why they’d do that but presumably they intend keeping him for the season so.
myoofc.com has just posted, and subsequently removed, an article confirming the signing of said Polish striker, complete with quotes from the Dortmund player.
Ambrosini has been released by Milan and is in talks with West Ham. He has to be one of the most underrated players of his generation, a great leader and icon for Milan - the ultimate unsung hero. Ambrosini was to Milan what Tommassi was to Roma.
