I was about to ask you yesterday what you thought of Belfodil. I like him from limited viewings - but didn’t think he’d be rated anything like that price, I was more thinking of him for Celtic.
As that question is now invalid, can I ask you instead to find out if Emilio MacEachen of Parma has any Irish roots. Should we be making Trap aware of him?

I would have thought he would have been more likely to have Scottish roots. One player who I would be keeping an eye out for next season with Parma is Alvaro Ampuero who is a 20 yr Peruvian left wing back. I saw him play live in one game last season - thin it have been with Parma played Milan and he was very impressive. He didn’t really break into the team but I’d expect him to this season.
Bayer Leverkusen have signed Giulio Donati according to the agent Puke has quoted for the Capello deal. He had a very impressive u-21 tournament for Italy so hopefully he can do well in the Bundesliga.
Inter have made some appalling decisions with regard to their youth players in the past.
They’re also cleaning up at youth level. They had no replacement for Huntelaar when he was injured last season because they never replaced Raul. They’re certainly adding more quality though.
Last season’s top scorer in the Ligat Al, Eliran atar of Maccabi Tel Aviv has left the club and joined Stade de Reims who fnished 14th in Ligue Une lst year for around 2 million euro.
Its a strange one i think and comes on the back of Oscar Garcia quitting the club to go back to Barcelona at the end of the season.
The Cruyffs are reportedly seething that Atar wanted to leave with the CL qualifiers coming up next month, anyway itll be interetsing to see what Maccabi do with the money, Paolo Sousa arrived in town this week to take over as coach after Garcia quit
