He has a clause that apparently runs until the 1st of August that allows him to go for €18m. This was triggered as he played below the number of minutes that was stipulated in his contract last season Surprised United are the front runners on this however. Milan should really be in there for him, he’d be perfect for the kind of midfielder they need and they are a much bigger draw than United.
Barca have started a very late charm offensive. I think they believed that noone would ever want to leave them. Xavi was wheeled out last weel to sing his praises
Marca are reporting that Isco will be joining Real Madrid for €24m.
Avi Reikan has joined Grasshopper Zurich from Beitar Jerusalem for 500,000 euro
Itai Shecter has left Swansea and gone back to Hapoel Tel Aviv
Looks like McGeady is on his way to Everton for 4m.
I’m really struggling to find threads lately, cant seem to find the Irish players abroad thread, but anyway, in here it goes for now, Stephen Ward and his huge nose have been let go by Wolves.
Napoli have officialy signed Mertens from PSV for a fee of around €9.5m. There are also reports this morning emanating from a Naples radio station that Chelsea and Napoli have agreed a €58m fee for Cavani.
Ancelotti officially been confirmed as Real Madrid head coach. That should mean Higuain’s transfer to Juventus should be completed soon and Arsenal fans can start going mental.
Any positive news?
Sky Italia reporting that Tevez is signing for Juventus for €9m, rising to €12m. Obviously his track record of dressing room problems means his fee would be slightly reduced but that seems very low.
And yet at the same time I’m not sure he’s quite the goalscorer or creative outlet that Juve needed.
Tell me about Schurrle Rocko would he not be quite similar to the attacking lads Chelsea have? or would he be more of an out and out wide man?
He’s one of those wide attackers that Germany are producing so many of - Mueller, Goetze, Reus. He’s ideal in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, too attacking really to play in a 4 man midfield.
It will be interesting with him Mata Hazard and Oscar.
Moses must Schurrley be on his way out.

Would imagine that Martinez would be interested in Moses if he becomes available. Decent enough player but he’s not likely to ever be first choice at Chelsea.
Tevez on his way to juve
Well spotted mate, can’t believe no one else mentioned it
Fare thee well Carlitos, you served a purpose, done some service, and lifted the trophy
Gomez to Fiorentina for €20m according to a Stuttgart newspaper.
Have Fiorentina €20m to spend? How times have changed.
you’re some knob all the same
i suppose you woke up this morning and studied the various German provincial editions as one does before heading off out the door
