Summer Transfer Window 2013

are they not in serious financial trouble?..
Utd have made a 12 mil bid for baines…

Fuck off like…
12m for him?! Take arm and all.

Best lb in the premiership lad…I couldn’t give a care about Fellini going but holding on to baines is a must or everton

Baines is pushing on isn’t he? 29 or that way. strange signing for Utd.

He’s also shit.

How do rebrand if your going to spout the same boring auld shite

Huh? What is this nonsense about rebrand being bandied about?

When Marathon changed to Snickers, the bar itself didn’t change - just the name.

Rudi
What will become of Kaka in this transfer window. He has been a huge disappointment at Real Madrid and could badly do with a move, especially as they have now got Isco as well. But I presume that Ancellotti will have him as part of his plans, but in saying that he will hardly be first choice. His age and wages will surely put a lot of sides off

A fucking fantastic player at his peak at Milan but, as you say Chewy, has been a huge disappointment at Madrid. I think his day is done.

He has lost some of the athleticism that was an integral part of his game in the way he used to skip past players.

I’d really like to see him return to Milan, especially as they are returning to a 4-3-1-2. He’s one of the greatest players to grace Serie A - an absolutely extraordinary player. Madrid haven’t utilised him well but if anyone knows how to bring the best out of him then it is Ancelotti.

Whatever happened to yer man Alex The Duck? Is he just a fairly ordinary player?

Anyway, Tom Ince to Cardiff is a good bit of business. I’ve seen him a few times and he’s worth the money.

He’s gone the way of Michael Owen, relentless hamstring problems.

I see that Dynamo Kieve have signed Younes Belhanda from Montpellier. Surprised by that, he seemed fairly highly rated and would have thought a bigger side would have come in for him. €10 million fee

How did he do last season? He was certainly rated highly after their league winning season. I am ashamed to say I was discussing him with a portly Wexican who I occasionally lunch with the other day and said portly Wexican claimed to have never heard of him.

Wasn’t nearly as effective last season . Suffer with the loss of Giroud. He did his very best to get a move to the BPL by telling every press outlet it was his preferred destination but obviously no team was willing to bite. He has bags of potential though and still only 23.

Rocko. Give me some more information on Lars Bender. I understand Arsenal have had a bid in the region of €23m turned down.

He’s a typical German #6. Better than his brother who plays for Dortmund but he’s only on the fringes of the German setup, Khedirw and Schweinsteiger have those positions nailed down. Decent player but not outstanding and I don’t think Leverkusen will have much appetite to sell.

Klose had completed his move to Wolfsburg. Johan Djorou has joined Hamburg.

Paulinho has signed for Spurs for €20 million. Hopefully they can keep the team together and push into a Champions League place this season.
