Anelka to West Brom

I read elsewhere that we have out bid Milan for Jorginho from Verona… What’s the low down on him?

Haven’t seen much of him but he is quite highly rated, I think he one of those very safe midfielders however so wouldn’t necessarily be my cup of tea.
That Armenian is going to Dortmund instead of Liverpool. Cunt.
That must have been a tough decision.
Reports claiming Liverpool pulled out on Monday and have switched their sights to another target.
I hate Twitter this time of year.
Zenit have apparently agreed terms with Vucinic but still have to get bid accepted by Juventus. Fee expected to be 9m Euro.

Think Juventus would be looking for more than €9m. Vucinic is a supremely talented player and really burst onto the scene under Zeman at Lecce, he was magnificent under Spalletti at Roma as well but since Spalletti left he has never reached the same heights again - will be an interesting reunion.
West Ham are apparently on the verge of signing some young Colombian striker for £7m, Duvan Zapata is his name and he is 22. Because he is Colombian I reckon he will be a star.
There are also reports that Barcelona are about to bid €32m for Marquinhos and Spurs €23m for Pjanic.
chewy louie
How good is Illarmendi? He is supposedly on the verge of signing for Real Madrid for €30m.
Looks like there is serious weight to PSG’s move for Cavani, the general consensus is that this move will happen.
Rumours linking Nani to Roma Totti. Your thoughts?
Unimpressed, I’m also very unimpressed with links connecting us to Kevin Strootman.
It’s being reported that Callejon will join Napoli for €10m.

Utd were supposed to be interested in Strootman but that seems to have gone quiet with Moyes being appointed.
Alcantra looks increasingly likely to move to Utd though I won’t be convinced until I see him posing with a Utd shirt. Would be a good buy but Utd need to buy at least one more midfielder.
Few more stories coming out of Italy. City are close to agreeing a deal for Pablo Osvaldo of around €13-15m, thought we could have done a little better here as his stats are quite good and he is a talented player but his attitude stinks and he can’t handle the intense pressure of playing in Rome.
The Jorginho story that Mark “Rent-Boy” Renton is being reported on Football Italia now, €9m does seem quite steep which would tie in with the story that they have beaten Milan to his signature as I couldn’t see any Italian club playing that for a Serie B player (or player only proven in Serie B). They let Verratti slip through their hands last season for the same reason. I didn’t Jorginho had declared for Italy though so quite clearly he is a much better player than I first anticipated.
Liverpool have turned down a £30m bid for Luis Suarez from Arsenal.
They should really have offered Niclas as well as I advised
