I hear the new democratic party in North Korea is going great guns.
Milan have made an official offer worth €8m for Fiorentina’s Adem Ljajic.
Granted he has only 12 months left on his contract but that is a bargain and a half for AC
Bayern starlet Emre Can has joined Leverkusen. He had turned down moves earlier in the summer but presumably Thiago signing convinced him to leave. Bayern have a buyback clause.
Robert Soldier.
The first proper striker we have had since Berba left.
Newcastle have agreed a fee to sign striker Bafetimbi Gomis from Lyon. Joe Kinnear proving his worth with his “connections”. I just hope there’s audio of him pronouncing his Christian name.
I hope Smug Cunt Pardew is happy.

Its over mate.
Wenger is quoted on a lot of newspapers tomorrow saying that Bale’s proposed transfer to Real Madrid is making a mockery of UEFA’s supposed financial FairPlay rules.
He has a point but he is also has his own agenda.

He’s a fantastic player. Galliani is the shrewdest transfer guru in football as well. Man United must be sickened they cancelled the Ljajic deal a few years ago as he is far better than anything they have in an attacking sense - Kagawa aside.

He spends no money and takes £7.5m home every season, the biggest fraudster in football.
Loic Remy to Newcastle and Adel Taarabt to Fulham.
Chelsea have made a second bid for Rooney which has been rejected, it is expected that he will now hand in yet another transfer request
Looks as though he is off to Wolfsburg. Disappointed with that, he would have been a fine signing for United or Arsenal
I’d have thought he would have moved to a big European side alright. What is the fee?
Rooney out of United’s friendly in Sweden with a “shoulder injury”
United should let the fat lump rot in the reserves.

Typical lack of class from United fans. The man done the Club a great service in his time there, even choosing to stay on when begged to by the manager. Now he wants to leave, they turn on him. Sad to see but in no way surprising.
Rooney is not worth 15 million but he ain’t going
I think Remy is a decent enough player actually. I was impressed with him at QPR last season. Any time I saw him with Marseille before that I thought him a decent player. Could be a good deal for Newcastle.
Especially with the service he will get from Downing.
