He is a ball playing central midfieler, very elegant on the ball but a bit lightweight without it and doubt he would make a huge impact in the EPL for €30 million. Wouldn’t say he is a better player that Javi Garcia for example

Not at all. Came to Villa and took a pay cut to do it. He signed for his last 2 clubs as first choice. He was first choice at Villa the season before last. We would have been relegated the season under McLeish only for him.
