Summer Transfer Window 2014

fair play to William Gentleman…

Mario Mandzukic to Atletico Madrid for €18 million is also expected to be completed in the coming days. He will be a very able replacement for Diego Costa and should fit the style of football Simeone plays quite well. A good replacement for less than half of what they sold Coata for

Vrsaljko to AC Milan with Matri going the other direction. Genoa being mugged off in that deal

+1

Vrsaljko is top class, very impressed by what Milan have done so far in the transfer window, they managed to move a lot of the deadwood on and only spent €1.5m in buying the remaining 50% of Saponara and Albertazzi along with the free transfers of Alex, Menez and Agazzi.

If they can get rid of the following and bring in some quality players and give the youth a chance then I think they can do well.

Abate
Balotelli
Mexes
Constant
Muntari
Essien
Birsa
Robinho

Seedorf really seemed to piss off a lot of the Italian contingent during his tenure - Montolivo, De Sciglio, Tassotti, Pazzini and Abate have all spoken out against him. Another starting centre back (not Rami) and starting left back as well as a striker to replace Balotelli should see them in good shape with some decent up and coming players to offer depth.

Steven Reid has signed for Burnley.

Bayern have signed Juan Bernat from Valencia for €10m. Was a left winger, now a left back. Would free up Alaba to play in midfield, not that they need him there.

Fulham have signed Ross McCormack from Leeds for £11 million

Fulham and their money

Him and Mitroglou should be a devastating £20m+ strike-force.

That is an outrageous fee. It’s comical. They still have Mitroglou don’t they?

:eek::eek::smiley:

Cellino mugged Fulham off good and proper.

I see that Arsenal are the front runners to sign Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona. He would be a great addition for them

Gary Medel looks to be on his way to Inter Milan as well

Archetypal Mazzarri midfielder. Dodo on his way to Inter as well on a two year loan and M’Vila close also. Inter doing some good business so far. Pair of quality attackers and some extra defensive reinforcements should see them good.
